Based in Los Angeles, the Black AIDS Institute’s “A Clinic For Us” offers respectful and culturally appropriate health services to LA’s Black, Latinx, and other under-served communities.

A Clinic For Us provides access to HIV services such as counseling, testing, and linkage services, HIV biomedical prevention, and care services.

This includes healthcare by certified medical providers, diagnostics, referrals, and pharmaceuticals as well as dental and Integrated Behavioral Health services supported by proactive community outreach, linkage to care and essential services, HIV testing, and counseling. In addition, certain medications may also be free based on the individual’s income.

A Clinic For Us provides free on-site HIV treatment and other clinical services. All HIV tests include home-based testing, consultations, and laboratory work that are conducted free of charge.

In addition, the clinic provides linkage to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), a daily pill that when taken consistently is a safe and proven way to prevent HIV. Clients can attend a PrEP support lunch to discuss strategies to be successful with PrEP with a Black AIDS Institute’s support staff and sign up for a peer mentor. Learn more about PrEP


Test Haven: At-Home HIV Test Kit

Test Haven offers you an HIV test in the comfort, safety, and privacy of your own home! Get your free, home-based, HIV test kits confidentially mailed to you.

Getting tested is the only way to know your status and keep yourself healthy. It will also help you decide if using PrEP for prevention is an option for you, or if you must get on HIV treatment.
