In partnership with St John’s Well Child & Family Center for the PRIME project, BAI staff is conducting targeted outreach to Black and Latinx men, aged 18 and over, who may have substance use and/or co-occurring disorders, and who would benefit from substance abuse treatment. Then, our team is facilitating linkage to substance abuse treatment, HIV testing, and referrals to any other needed services.

BAI staff are conducting the initial pre-screening to assess for anxiety and depression, substance use/abuse and co-occurring disorders.  All clients are offered HIV testing services, and then referred to St Johns where a trained substance abuse counselor then provides both individual and group level therapies.

Interested participants are screened for substance use or co-occurring disorders, and are then enrolled into individual-level treatment sessions with a Certified Counselor.  Participants may be eligible for incentives based on their participation.
