The Deputy Director is an essential part of the Black AIDS Institute (BAI) executive management team and provides dynamic leadership in program oversight, implementation and evaluation, financial and grants management, vision enhancement, and strategic planning for the organization. Reporting to the CEO, the Deputy Director has the primary responsibility for the day-to-day management and success of the organization’s national efforts as well as its local HIV and clinical services along with decision-making leadership across BAI’s workstreams. This position ensures that program goals and objectives are met through continual monitoring of data, effective communication, and collaboration with other departments and agencies.

The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated commitment to anti-oppression work, flourish in a demanding work environment, have documented success in program planning and implementation, exemplify Black excellence in their work and thrive in an unapologetically Black work environment.
