Black AIDS Institute is committed to using its platform to create visibility for the Black trans community. 44% of all Black trans women are living with HIV compared to 7% of white trans women. Therefore, to commemorate National Trans HIV Testing Day on April 18, we’re proud to share that this month’s Brown Bag Lunch features a critical conversation around intersecting stigmas: being Black, trans, and impacted by HIV.

The Brown Bag Lunch Webinar Series improves HIV care and treatment through training, networking, and mobilization. The monthly web-trainings are done in collaboration with leading partners in the HIV field and teach participants about biomedical information, HIV-related policy, and research as well as other pertinent health issues.
