As the Black AIDS Institute’s Director of Finance since 2010, Jamie Cox is responsible for the fiscal management of the organization including providing executives and the board of directors with timely and accurate financial statements, the development and management of organizational budgets, ongoing cash flow projections, oversight over accounting and finance operations, as well as the design and maintenance of the financial reporting structures. In addition to her accounting and finance oversight responsibilities, she is also responsible for managing all grants and contracts.
Cox has nearly two decades of experiences in financial management and has served in a wide range of leadership and management positions. In addition to her finance career, she has served on multiple advisory boards and boards of directors for various nonprofit organizations. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from West Texas A & M University.
