Leisha McKinley-Beach serves as the Coordinator of Health Department Services for the Black AIDS Institute. In this role she is responsible for creating and sustaining health department relationships; facilitating program services for health departments in partnership with the training and capacity building team. Services include: PrEP learning collaboratives, community engagement, media and marketing design for Black communities and community mobilization. McKinley Beach also served as the Director of Technical Assistance and Stakeholder Engagement and the Southern Regional Coordinator for the Black AIDS Institute. In these roles she was responsible for partnership development, engagement activities in Black communities; lead for women and faith activities and served as the lead for HIV related programming for Black communities in the southern region. She brings more than 28 years of HIV experience including health department experience with the Florida and Georgia state departments of health and Fulton County Health Department in Atlanta, Ga.
