Michelee Vasquez
Finance Coordinator
Michelee Vasquez is committed to making an impact in the African American community by being building strong alliances and continuously striving to improve the quality of service. She is the Finance Coordinator at the Black AIDS Institute (BAI) and is responsible for assisting in the organization’s financial operational duties. Her goal is to provide support to the organization through financial administrative duties.
Michelee was previously a Temp-Accounting Clerk at The Children’s Collective, Inc. Supporting in the financial sector to assist African American and Latino families in childcare, education, and family support services in South Central Los Angeles.
Ms. Vasquez received an MBA with a focus in Human Resources from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. And a BA in Sociology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX.
She recently began living in, Los Angeles, CA in 2018. Where she paints and collaborates with people to create art pieces to symbolize vulnerability, empowerment, and spiritual growth.
